Let me preface my comment with these thoughts.
Twitter is a biased left-wing powerful media company and should be strictly regulated as public utility.
Twitter is the elephant in the room and needs some serious competition.
Currently {GAB](https://gab.com/) is an attempt to provide some competition to twitter but hasn't connected with people and Wikipedia (Communist influenced) describes it as an alt-right, white supremacist platform. 4CHAN is.............different . A place for shit posters but mildly entertaining.
Parler has risen to provide a fresh solution to Twitter's blatant bias. This is good but it is poorly implemented for these reasons IMO.
I cannot even view posts if I am not a registered user. I don't even know what I am signing up for. I tried to contact them, but apparently I must be registered before I can even offer suggestions. Catch-22
I don't use a smart phone regularly. Parler has a website but I don't even know if the content is viewable or if I could even post via my PC browser if I were a member.
If I were a content provider or politician I wouldn't reach my audience to the fullest potential. I hope they their reconsider their policy. I like to try before I buy.
I attempted to sign up (with one of my fake protonmail accounts of course) and can't get past the 'provide mandatory phone number' (which we'll NEVER use to track you, we PROMISE) screen. No thanks. I categorically REFUSE to ever provide a phone number for antisocial media. I too would prefer to browse - which twitter allows at least - as an unregistered user - someone had posted a tommy robinson Parler link and it was just a blank screen (unless signed in). I use the phone solely for call/text, period - everything else (such as right now) is on the computer - guess i'm a 'boomer' or whatever the derisive, insulting term is.
