It's a trap, both would never go Red so in essence its a power grab by Democrats to get 4 new Senators. Vote no on all new States.

the problem is you're breathing life into the conversation and the longer the conversation is on the table the more chance it has to stick in the public consciousness. Inevitably it becomes a fully tribalized issue with the left supporting it just because their media handlers told them to. Then we find ourselves actually witnessing elected officials humoring the idea. At that point, even if it's still a longshot for actually happening it still wastes valuable time that the nation could be devoting to more useful discourse and it etches even more resentment into the hearts of leftists who think those big bad evil republicans only live to deprive others of happiness

Nope more likely you are making people ask why PR isn't being discussed. I respectfully disagree with your concerns.

Anyone that's stayed updated on the news and isn't a zoomer understands that PR doesn't become a state because they chose it that way. So sure, you could try to make your arguement, but you're the shill in black screaming at the black guy who's trying to teach you something.

Right. Everything that's talked about. Once the left realizes the right is against something they will come out in support of it. So, the more you talk about adding new states the more it actually has a chance to happen
