I wonder about that. My company will pay partial tuition for folks who want to study for a new degree. The vast majority of them always go for (and complete) business bachelors degrees.

Now I work a call center environment. How many of these bozos end up as CEOs? Zip. How many of them are still taking calls like nothing ever changed? Yup, all of them.

Here's the pro tip from someone who knows what he's talking about (me) :

Get a masters. MBA in finance is fine. That basically opens up the doors people previously thought a Bachelors in business opens up. The whole idea of a 4 year degree in business is stupid anyway. Actual business, hate to say it but you're either born with it or you aren't. Get in through the finance side and stick with it. IMO. Look into a CFA, and you're making money doing what people think a Business degree was gonna have them doing.
