Even in california most of the outlying counties are still red. So if it ever pops off all we have to do is lay siege to the cities and starve them out. We can even cut off power since most electrical production is also way out in red territory.
This is why they are trying to do this politically and culturally because they know they could never in a million years win a stand up fight.
Not exactly. They are to busy oppressing Africa and other nations that they want to take over, and America is not really all that important to them except as an adversary. They are doing this to keep us busy while they try to get more power on the Geo-Strategical stage. Too much cost at the moment for them. I think if they get more land they will try to out grow the rest of the world and just send in bodies and cheap equipment for attrition in the future.
I would fully expect the military to side with the right on this and declare martial law using one of the various cog initiatives and warn any nations looking to take advantage that nukes are ready. All bets would be off in a hot war.
However I really think the chances of a hot war are remote because people even leftists are too used to luxury and ease. Remember that nearly all the rioters so far are teens and twenty somethings and barely amount to the population of a typical town.
Not to mention that if they decide to migrate towards the red counties, or states for that matter they will be met with militias blocking their exodus. I can guarantee you that if this was the case for a civil war that is what I would be doing if I was red state.
The town I live in is about 40ish miles outside a major D city and our council and sheriffs have a 'zombie apocalypse' plan to deputize the local gun owners and block the rails and roads that connect them in the case of an 'outbreak'. We actually had a dry run back in 2015 when the unrest was looking like it would spill out into the border counties. We had ~300 show up armed and ready and yes there much much kidding and laughter about the number. We certainly felt like spartans waiting on the persian hordes as we watched the news. Estimates from the signups are that we can expect almost a thousand this time if it really cooks off. I'll bet most red counties outside of the city have similar plans.
Something about invoking "the zombie apocalypse plan" and getting a bunch of gun owners together to laugh about the rioting in the big cities is just really wholesome to me.
