Yep, .308 renowned for putting down feral hogs for decades
Remember pedes, sometimes an AR in 5.56/.223 does not have the stopping power if you’re off target when dealing with feral hogs
I advise those of you less experienced with eliminating these invasive species to consider AR-10s as well if the feral hogs arrive near you. They will destroy everything in sight— it’s unbelievable how fast they can turn everything to shit.
Personally I think a Carmaggedon scenario would be the most entertaining. I've always been partial to the "Artistic Impression" and "Splatter" bonuses. 😏
Good for use in urban areas where you can run shorter barrel lengths or run subsonic ammo suppressed
Don’t forget these hogs are able to be trapped as well, they’re vulnerable to calorie dense bait, like cake and Marxist literature. They can die quickly from COVID pneumonia due to their compromised health. Removing their mask can hasten infection, but they attack furiously when unmasked.
They stink like shit though, it’s best to just put them down and let the other hogs eat them
Blackout is great if youre a true hobbyist. It makes sense if you want to deal with the legal hassle of a short barrel and suppressor, and have the time to hand load bullets so you're packing as much lead as possible in there and slinging it just under the speed of sound. Need to tune everything so your rifle cycles reliably and you don't crack that sound barrier

I'd prefer my own personal household A-10... BRRRRRRRRT

What about the 300 Blackout? I just learned about them.

Love my .308!
What about 357 magnum for feral hogs? Out of a rifle, not a revolver. Or do you really want semi-auto for hogs?
Semi auto, mag fed. The hogs swarm. 44 magnum from a lever action rifle might be great for 10 rounds, but reloading is when they get you
