I’m 25 years old. I am a year away from graduating college (a couple years of irresponsibility later) and I currently work on campus as a bartender. My boss is MAGA but is currently willing to give in to the mask wearing demands of local government in Fort Worth. Personally, I don’t think I can wear a mask. It’s against my principles. I believe in a free America. I am just one person, in one city, in one burger joint that has a bar. But should I do it? Or should I refuse and possibly lose my job. I am one person, but how can I call on others to stand for freedom if I do not do my part? Any advice would be helpful. Freedom is my top priority, as it should be everyone else’s

Was about to suggest the same thing.

A gadsen mask would be perfect. Or a Trump 2020 mask.

My wife gave me a Gadsden mask, one of her business friends got a pile of masks and gave it to her, knowing I’d love it. Which I did!

This is one of those rare instances where the shit actually rolls uphill. This is just your boss requiring it because hes worried about the state coming down on him. I say wear the mask and keep your job but talk to the customers and see if you can drop any red pills.

Exactly this. It only takes one offended person to make a phone call to a SJW "journalist" and your bosses' business becomes a lightning rod. Just wear the mask.

It is all dependent on your level of compliance and/or the level you are willing to go to, to stand your ground- and knowing you may have to remove yourself from that compliance.

I abhor the mask. I have to wear it in Vegas for my job in Vegas. As soon as I am not near a security officer or a 'Karen', I rip that shit off. But I have a baby and a ton of bills while I am looking for a homestead. I comply monorly to get out.

If I was 23 and no one that depended on me, I would be gone. Every fiber of my being says this is a system of demoralizing control. (I am thinking of 12 weeks of FMLA).

But I have people that depend on me. If it gets much worse, I will move my family (in a rash move of burdening someone else) where my buddy is connected in a small town, where they do not care.

But, for now I am making plans and saving money to move my kids with little incident away from this fucked up control system.

You have to weigh what you can, willing, and are able to do.

Door # 2. Become an entrepreneur and screw everyone else. I own my own business and make the rules. I can take direction fine, but dont try and tell me what to do, that includes wearing a mask. Because America! Good luck!!

Should you wear the mask? You do need your job, right?

If only Americans still had family owned businesses.

When you're on the job you gotta do what the boss says. Or quit

I haven't had to wear them yet but I have some American flag masks I found easily on eBay

Even if I were going to refuse, I would still take the mask and just hang it around my neck.

Any time I was asked to put it on, I'd just say "sure" but not do it.. continue until you're fired or they stop asking.

I believe in a free America also, but a private business has the right to set their own rules.

Here's an example I always give to people. Freedom of speech only protects you from the government, not a private business. You can tell someone in the government to go fuck themselves. You can't get in trouble for that. However, if you go up to your boss at work (private business), and tell them to go fuck themselves, you will probably be fired.

The choice of where you want to work is yours! That's what's great about living in a free country.

Make a single layer mask out of cheesecloth or gauze.

When asked, explain that, unless you use a properly-fitted N95 or better mask, that any cloth mask is the equivalent of using Chain-link fence to keep out mosquitos.

Dr. Fauci himself said that cloth masks are ineffective and were only recommended to prevent a run on supplies for medical professionals.

Opportunity for redpilling exists - use it!
