I was having a talk with a few friends a couple days ago, several of which claim to be "informed", and the conversation shifted to Kung Flu and its death toll. I brought up how fucked up it was that infected patients had been deliberately sent into nursing homes, and not a one of them had any idea what I was talking about. When I told them New York and California's governors, among a few other states, had deliberately forced nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients and it resulted in thousands of unnecessary deaths, they looked at me like I was advocating for tin foil hats.
The MSM has completely avoided any mention of these policies. Meanwhile, practically every day I hear another report from ABC about "red state infections surging" despite deaths being down.

It's because they get around $38k per covid death from the federal government.
Also, most in nursing homes in NY are on Medicaid. That's the state program that pays for their care.
So kill the nursing home people and you get out of paying Medicaid for them, and you get the federal bonus.
Not to detract at all from this, but Michigan gov. Whitmer has been doing the exact same thing and I've heard even less about her. People should be shouting this from the mountain tops........
