If you live in a place like this then carry a gun. Don't just be a victim. These people don't go after hard targets. Having one will make you less likely to be targeted, and will allow you to defend yourself against multiple assailants. Of course, the best move would be to just move away from the city, but if you're still in Minneapolis after the vote to abolish the police, then I'll assume that you're logistically stuck for one reason or another.
