I would crawl out of that state on my hands and knees, if necessary. There is no logic or sanity running the State of California.
I know gay folks that think the state is insane for their HIV purposeful non-disclosure policy.
That's pretty much what we did. The Uhaul van was on fumes when we got to our new house. Had to borrow money to fuel it back up( to turn into Uhaul center) Folks at the center said 80% of their business was refugees from Cali.
I would have helped you push the Uhaul out of California had I been there with you!
