I've learned to love fallout games despite the bugs. But 76 was plagued by magnitudes worse and frequent bugs. The game was often unplayable, most of the time unenjoyable, and was beyond unbalanced.
I maybe got to level 50, and the last 15 to 20 levels was hoping the next part would be fun.
The worst was it was super easy to hack, I guess some hackers were able to loot your inventory from 400m away or something stupid like that. When they selected the "take all" option it would also take your pip boy away since thats technically an item in your inventory.
There’s always been a group who wanted coop fallout or tes, but that wasn’t what 76 was they decided to try to make a mmo with fallout skin and A bear minimum of single player features. Had they just made a single player game like new Vegas with optional coop, probably would have gone great.
Fallout 3 and NV were top tier Fallout games. I have over 100+ hours on both of these games. I haven't tried 4 yet but man a lot of these games need to stay single player. Forcing multiplayer on certain series just don't work. Also Resident Evil.

This one definitely hits close to home for me. When this all started, I was playing a lot of Elder Scrolls Online, Smite, and Red Dead Online. Then Rockstar decided to turn off their GTA Online/Red Dead Online servers for a few hours with a BLM message on the menu.
Smite had a huge message on the main menu before you go into a match, so big that it literally blocked several UI elements on the main menu. ESO, not a fucking peep. I'm thankful for that, I play games to get away from real world shit, not have it shoved down my throat.
After trying to get in on RDO that day, and realizing what they did I closed the game and launched Smite. I saw the message, and that it was blocking certain UI elements, and immediately closed the game. I launched ESO expecting it there too, and was pleasantly surprised they didn't jump on the bandwagon. I haven't played RDO or Smite since, not sure if the messages are still there.
Actually, ESO is made by Zenimax, it's only licensed from Bethesda. They don't directly control it.
I've dropped out of several gaming communities because they now support terrorists.
