Yeah man, I used to live on Brickell. Miami is cool and all, but the traffic is stupid. there were days I'd see the bridge go up, then just say fuck it, park my car wherever and just walk to Brickell Village and sit outside working.
It was fun. Lots of pretty people walking by. But the beach? F that.
Fellow miamian....also hate the beach for all the same reasons you listed. Pisses me off that we have so many weak minded people here and the old Cuban community that was hard right has been dying off and replaced with "new cubans" who miss the Castro regime.

Giminez actually stood his ground w the protestors to a large degree. When Miami cops were overrun w the rioters, he called in 100s it Miami-Dade County cops to shut that shit down. We haven’t had an incident since.

I actually love the beach. All the Art Deco. The sunsets, sunrises, the turquoise water.
