She can’t wait to talk about it over coffee with her friends. “She’s so nice!“

Child abuse. No wonder Putin won’t allow Russian orphans to be adopted by Americans.

I love Putin!

I swear, I have so much respect for him.

Hope he and Trump become best bros in Term II.

The world would get so much better.

A USA/Russia Team up would have the ChiComs pissing down their legs.

Imagine a USA/Russia allied crusade on Eurostan to clean out the Muslim infestation! Just like the good old days.

There are a lot of slavic-Americans. Came over here, worked hard and moved up. While there are reasons to question Russia, good American-Russo relations would scare the rest of the world.

Flying Hussars already got our backs.

These dudes are pure Deus Vult with no racial chips on their shoulders.

Hahaha you do know that Russia has a shitton of Muslim extremists in its own territory, right?

Ever heard of Chechnya?

Putin did fuck up Isis, but the idea that he's a force against Islam is just a romantic dream.

How about not. That didn't work out so well for us last time. I'd rather go it alone.

He is an unabashed tyrant. He could be 100% right but he is still evil. His lust for power has corrupted him.

Didn't he ask to see some athlete's diamond and gold winners ring and then promptly put it in his pocket saying "what ring?"

It was Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots. I believe it was his first super bowl ring and Putin asked to try it on and just kept it. I think Kraft may have gotten it back in recent years though

Um sorry. Putin is not a friend to the US and never will be. Remember this because my spidey senses tells me Putin is about to capitalize on the instability going on in the US.

Well, I think it's important to remember here that Russia has no functional government. It is a kleptocracy dominated by raw power politics, which happen to wear the skin of governmental legitimacy. "Courts". "Federal Assembly". Except the courts don't find you guilty unless you are on the wrong side of the powers-that-be, and the assembly rubber-stamps things already decided. Putin looks out for Russian interests, but Russian Interests appear to also play second fiddle to first ensuring that the group of former-KGB oligarchs are happy and on-board.

Russia's political context demands that we do no more than be on friendly terms with them at arms' length. No closer relationship is possible with a country in which there is no rule of law.

I don't like that this is true, and I wish your sentiment were possible, but it is not.
