If the degrees and education they offer are not worth it then the default should go back on them.
I honestly don’t understand why in this time of eat the rich socialism their hate can’t be redirected to the people who got them in debt as indentured servants. Higher education not only brain washed but also made them into debt slaves.
Been saying this for years. At the very least make them cosign the loans. They all have massive endowments, they can afford it. As it stands they make parents cosign, and the paren5 has virtually no control over the student.
I totally agree and have been saying this too. If you spent $80,000 on a car and it turns out it doesn’t drive, the car dealer can’t just shrug and say “oh well”. This is what our higher education system does. Even worse, if you can’t get a job with your bachelors in feminist writing, they will suggest you pay them more to get a masters in feminist writing.
If the university had to “invest” in students, they would be forced to consider work ethic, and offer degrees with a market demand.
