Loans are the responsibility of the signers. When the borrowers decide to pursue a retaded education path that doesnt help them in life, that is their own fault. The "people who got them in debt" are the people who signed the loan agreements. If the loan signers don't practice due dilligence with regards to the supposed value of the education being offered, that is on them.

I am not defending the universities. I went to a university and dropped out(I've paid off all my loans). I was not impressed with "higher education" and saw it to be a scam (useless prerequisites, shitty professors, commie indoctrination)All learning could now take place online with self discipline. Youtube is an amazing resource for everyone's education. Sadly, people care more Kardashians and cat videos to make any difference in their lives.

To anybody reading this, follow Dave Ramsey's method to get out of debt. You'll need discipline and sacrifice to do it. Its worth it. You can free yourself from the mindset that debt is necessary.
