Took my boy to the range yesterday. There's not many things better to spend a Saturday with than a .22 and a brick of ammo.

Plink'in ain't stink'in! God on you Dad! Teaches awareness and responsibility. Opens up a young ones eyes and the idea of self become much larger. Plus it's fun to imagine shooting zombies!

Edit- The reason anti-gun Joepedo is pushing shotguns over rifles: Shotguns are great for home defense but almost worthless for an insurrection against a tyrannical government.

I got the 452 scout right before they came out with the 455 scout. Feels bad man.

I had no idea there even was a 457.

I bought it right after my son was born. Told my wife he needed a rifle.

I went to the gun store and bought the 452 Scout I’d been eyeing. “Buying this for your kid?” The salesman asked.

“Yeah, my son.”

“Best training rifle there is. How old is he?”

“Two weeks.” 😎👍🏻

Lol

I bought mine when my boy turned 6. It was waaay too big for him at that age, and still is somewhat, but he's growing into it.

I thought about getting him a cricket or something like that, but decided that his first rifle should be something he'll be able to shoot and enjoy his whole life.

Sooo important to teach the next generation!

I remember every year going to summer camp, learning to shoot rifle, shotgun, and archery.

I see a big peep(?) sight on the front. Why do they put the rear sight so far forward?

I love a .22 with good iron sights!

They really do. I wanted something that he would be proud to own and shoot when he's my age.

I taught mine in a 22lr trainer with irons too!

Best way to learn, IMO.

I'm not against optics, I just think it's easier to learn on irons and then learn optics, rather than vice versa.

Seriously though, what was up with the “White Power” guy in the video Trump tweeted. I only saw it on CNN cause I wanted to watch a video of Tim Scott talking about the house police reform bill. Was it a very long video with different context and then just one dickhead in the mix who sad that? https://youtu.be/mRMCzDA-Spg

It was a guy being sarcastic.

The video I saw was the Trump supporter in a golf cart driving past a protester.

The protester yells "where's your white hood?" And then starts yelling "racist, racist". They guy in the golf cart then says "yeah, white power!"

It's obviously sarcasm.
