Don't take this the wrong way, but he WANTS dissapointment. Not in him, but in the rest of government. You and I may not need to be shown the root of the problem, but for the people who do, it's show them now and fix it or wrist slap and have it come back in 4-5 years. Listen to what he said about letting the hardcore Dem cities do this then ask for help after. He knows what he's doing. A long term fix is more valuable than the short term.

Then there’s the very real issue of Pissy Miley and Espionage Esper telling the press and everyone who will listen that they don’t “support using military troops against American citizens”, which has been echoed all over from a dozen or so retired “generals” still screeching about “tear gas deployed on peaceful protestors!” The Military heads have made it clear that they won’t obey any orders from President Trump regarding BLM and “protestors”. They have joined the Marxist Leftist coup and are traitors to our country.
Maybe some don't like it but he does need to be careful till the elections. His supporters will vote for him anyway, his haters wont. There is a very fine line of less than 10% that can swing . Some that would vote for him night not do so if there is an extreme reaction to....basically anything... As Obama once said to the Russians: "After the election I'll be more flexable"

I understand how you feel, but the power to stop the riots is with the states and cities. Personally I believe the Democrat run states and cities want them to continue, hoping it will reflect back on President Trump. He only has the power to stop it with federal property. What needs to be brought out is how many businesses were destroyed in the Democrat run states and cities and keep repeating it.
POTUS could have tried to use the virus as a national emergency reason to shut everything down, but he's trying to reopen the economy. The states have rights, particularly when it comes to governing themselves. We are seeing more arrests now, and I suspect this will continue. Hopefully the DOJ/FBI will seize the assets of Antifa, BLM and other communist front groups to pay for the damage.
What really got me the other day was watching a line of police officers in riot gear standing at attention and some short protester was yelling and blowing smoke up and under his face shield while he had to just stand there and take it...... not right, I don't know how they do it without coming unglued.
