It’s a miracle virus. It’s also cured the flu and cancer since no one is dying from them anymore.

abstr4ct 6 points ago +6 / -0

People are dying from cancer. my friend died during this covid shit, possibly contributory due to issues getting treatment.

2
BobSacamano 2 points ago +2 / -0

False. The cancer was a side effect of his Covid-19

1
abstr4ct 1 point ago +1 / -0

False. No, i mean, he did not have covid. he had cancer, but covid made it hard to treat. never had covid. As in, he had cancer, then the world got covid, and making appointments for treatment became a issue.

Exactly. Plus the rioters were all wearing masks. Everybody knows that masks prevent 100% of viruses.

Hmmm media claiming a big increase in Texas and Florida I sure wonder what they are trying to do

29
Peashout 29 points ago +29 / -0

Quarantine perfectly heathly people again.

26
George 26 points ago +26 / -0

Well yes, but I was thinking about the significance in those two states and their influence on the election. They want more lockdowns to push their mail in voting.

10
Peashout 10 points ago +10 / -0

That does make sense as well.

2
MAGAngelo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Both states have also been at the forefront of the fight against the Wuhan Fear Mongering. DeSantos has been very vocal in the fight with GEOTUS.

So now hey will be punished, and the election coming up is the whipped cream and cherry topping,

Maybe we should've been the ones rioting. They'd give us whatever we want and now to us.

HUGE SPIKES! HIGHEST SINGLE DAY POSITIVE CASES! COVID’S GONNA GET YA!

What about the deaths?

Can someone do a public records request somehow on used tests, purchased tests, etc. to see how much they are lying.

A whopping 24 yesterday in Florida. Probably more died of alligator attacks. 🤣

8
Modus_Pwninz 8 points ago +8 / -0

They've stopped sharing graph data of deaths on CDC website, lol.

Every time they change the narrative slightly, the associated graph data is propped up, and the 'dissenting' data disappears.

5
tombombadil 5 points ago +5 / -0

This is what statisticians and analysts are hired for at corporations. They’re job is to push a narrative to share holders and employees that everything is going great.

eddedandedamame 9 points ago +9 / -0

Florida and Texas might have increased positives because many work placed are testing, and so many people are back to work.

But both states are protecting the elderly and death rates are decreasing relevant to new tests so i don't think this fearmongering is going to fool anyone with common sense :)

3
UpTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Too bad there's a lot of people without common sense. I'd wager 65% of the population is still scared shitless right now

4
tombombadil 4 points ago +4 / -0

At least they have finally realized that Florida is no longer a purple state.

22
latetotheparty 22 points ago +22 / -0

but wait, there's more! Yesterday Miami-Dade announced closure of all beaches for 4 days over the July 4th weekend... and Broward will probably follow today or tomorrow. Fireworks shows are now being cancelled, too - so I guess the movement for elimination of the holiday is making progress. Any bets on it becoming "I Can't Breathe" Day?

19
phibetared 19 points ago +19 / -0

Did they cancel "Juneteenth" ?

1
latetotheparty 1 point ago +1 / -0

Welp... just back from cruising the ICW for a couple hours to take a break from the madness... and the guy at the high-and-dry marina said they got word they may shut them down again, too. Lots of boats out today, "social distance party time" on the sandbar and the other spots - so will be a lotta pissed off people if they close those down again, too.

When you stop saying "we" and do what you want. I personally do what I want and never stopped.

7
Cyer6 7 points ago +7 / -0

I hope Floridians just swarm those beaches and give them the middle finger. This is where there needs to be significant push back.

They weren't allowed to ask if someone who contracted the virus was at a protest.

18
WinstonSmith1984 18 points ago +18 / -0

Rioting and looting make you immune. It's SCIENCE, retard!

16
nachosamplerREBORN 16 points ago +16 / -0

Spring break was long before the riots started. However, many ‘contact tracers’ can’t ask about BLM/riot attendance. Also, testing in general is up and disproportionate in different areas. Bottom line is the higher infection rates are actually proving a much lower mortality which is great. Media is focused on the number of infected which is, as usual, half the story.

It’s getting to the point where if someone says “I read it on the internet” I am more inclined to believe them than if they say “I saw it on TV”.

The weirdest part is that is you look at a graph of the deaths and positive tests, they begin to massively diverge a few weeks ago, just when Trump announced rallies were back on.

Infections started to spike (in FL), but deaths have been plummeting. In fact, overall all-cause deaths are now at the same level as if there were no CV19.

There are ONLY a few possible explanations:

Either the vulnerable populations (the very old and immunocompromised) are largely either hardened/protected/quarantined, dead, or exposed and have antibodies.

OR

the infections data has been manipulated to show spikes that dont exist. (deaths cant actually be manipulated, obviously). To make it even more curious, most of these new infections are in Broward and Maiami-Dade counties, hard lefty stronghholds that get caught committing massive fraud every election (for Dems of course). And now Miami-Dead has closed beaches for the 4th.

So I dont know WHICH of these explanations is true, but one of them is.

11
phibetared 11 points ago +11 / -0

Almost. 3rd option, which I'm pretty sure is accurate. Many, many tests became available. Many people required to get tested to go back to work. Test showing positive, even though no symptoms. It's why the USA is seeing an increase and other places are not - they are not testing as many people as we are.

Florida - virus peaked 1st week of April. But now we have 5 times as many cases, yet 1/5th the deaths. So this new round is just finally getting around to testing people with no symptoms. No need at all for a 2nd lockdown.

3
KAG4EVRodysseus11 3 points ago +3 / -0

that could be accurate, if we could overlay a graph line of testing in FL we could verify if the positive tests follow that curve of testing.

I dont think that the test capacities necessarily matched up as you suggest, I think the increased testing was online long before these "new cases" spikes, but we should be able to validate.

The rest of your comment, I agree.

This is why its all about data analysis, not hysterical media headlines, or prognostication by Fauci eggheads.

1
tombombadil 1 point ago +1 / -0

There was also a study that came out a few weeks ago by an Italian doctor that the virus’ symptoms are weakening due to mutations, and as a result, it is killing much less people.

11
IAbsolutelyDare 11 points ago +11 / -0

The virus is caused by Bad People™ but only victimizes Good People™.

Party of ¡SCIENCE!

7
AngelMark 7 points ago +7 / -0

99.89% survival rate/ 96% of "positive cases" have NO symptoms/and we have Hydroxycloriquine + zinc as a treatment! This is all bs! Saw some dink doc on TV this morning saying hospitals aren't overwhelmed YET but could be if people don't CURB THEIR BEHAVIOR! Fuck you!

Gooch_grabber 2 points ago +2 / -0

Is there anyway you can provide sources on this? I need something to pass to my friends/family who have been constantly living in fear for the past 4 months.

Love that movie

zmanscm 5 points ago +5 / -0

How do they know it's from beaches and not riots?

When they go get tested , do they ask if they were in a protest?

2
TheBraveCap 2 points ago +2 / -0

If it’s true and people are getting it faster now It’s either riots or young people out at “beach bars”. I drove by the beach’s the other weekend and the only thing I would consider packed was the beaches right around bars and clubs full of college age kids.

3
BobSacamano 3 points ago +3 / -0

No one is “getting it faster”. Testing has ramped up, so more cases are being identified than before

PSA: The ‘high number’ of cases in a given day means nothing when the number of deaths in a day are less than people dying from slip and falls in the shower.

Even the wuhan virus is bigoted. Wait a minute, it IS chinese after all....

1
sordfysh 1 point ago +2 / -1

Instead look at hospital occupancy and ventilator use.

It's not going substantially up, despite the fact that hospitals are reopening to elective surgery, which increases hospital occupancy and ventilator use.

If you look at the number of cases alone, you will be deceived. Look at hospitalizations instead. It's the only number consistently tracked.

Trump announced maga rallies and like magic all those states have an uptick in wuhan virus.
