I get it on general social media. There are a lot of idiots out there. It surprises me when they rear their heads in here. Particularly since there have been plenty of posts detailing the facts. Unless they're just Leftist trolls who can't help outing themselves.

I dealt with one of those trolls the other day. Who claimed that since a surgeon wears a mask for protocol during surgery that it means it’s safe for the entire populace and therefore depleting oxygen and increasing carbon dioxide intake is good mainstream advice for our health.

So do those same surgeons, nurses, techs, etc. that wear masks for several hours at a time experience oxygen depletion? The only way you're going to see oxygen depletion is if the mask is sealed around your face. If I was wearing a M50 gas mask? Sure. A surgical mask? Not likely to be anything significant. If you're SpO2 is falling below 80%, you'd have a problem. We'd also have seen this problem before now.
