Dutch one here, just curious to see what politically is going on in America, read culture critique and "hear the other side" aswell. I prefer direct sources along with our regular news.
Also here's a report on how we view current political movements. trend in perception for trump is positive, he was seen in general as rather negative, now a shift is that we are more positive police wise but mainly still nevagive in regards to manners. And we give him credit due to some valid points. Perception change is also odd because we view Biden as even less suitable for office and really wonder how on earth this is the best they could come up with.
Centiment against him still negative it just decreased. And the amount of people "hoping" trump would win is bigger then in 2016 (although most still oddly enough say they dislike both, yet Obama was glorified in and after his days, in contradiction to what's here obviously, in stark contrast to Biden).
Also general population looks baffled at the riots. And almost all people really dislike people vadalising statues and wonder why barely action is taken, the role of governess /individual states is not understood (and nor do I, why the fack do they tolerate it, showing incopetance of the other side my ass, I'd prefer them saving citizens and businesses now! And saying insurance etc. Is bullshit cause you all pay for that, just don't demolish stuff maybe) and the passiveness against rioters is seen as governmental weakness. We somehow imported it to a (luckily) much lesser degree all the valueless people trying to destabilize society, but it's halted quickly. Our countery in general went to the right the last couple of years (one could see a 20 year trend). Not because of social policies or economical ones, we adopted those "left" policies even on the right side, it's not up for debate that much, but cultural wise people started to fear the left and giving them power. And because they refuse to distance themself form identity politics, they slowly marganalise themself. Push all old moderate left ones, to the moderate right/Conservative. Conservative (culturally, focus on Christian values) economical left, is also on the rise (still very small) and now actually in the government with the moderates and the right ones. Weird times.
I am myself are both progressive and conservative (in regards to that I think family values are actually undervalued and that there's something lost in our "progression" that we should restore, however I don't think the "progression was bad") . Economically relatively moderate bit right but pretty happy with all our social policies.
What I truly don't understand is how voter Id is up for debate. Like I was so struck that it wasn't mandotory. It seems so ridiculous and the arguments are mainly "our government sucks" (but you except much more complicates tasks and it's no argument but whatever) so we shouldn't even try. I really can't figure any non oppertunistic argument why you wouldn't enforce that.
Netherlands in #3 for .Win because a lot of the people using VPNs go through the netherlands. The number of Americans on .Win is >80%.

This screenshot would make more sense if you hadn't cropped the site names off the columns.
