Right now, every discussion of the riots starts with homage paid to Floyd. If I were President, I'd say something like, "Look, this is now about rioting, violence, looting, assault, killing. I'm talking about that now, not about Floyd. Spare a moment of your indignation to say some bad things about the violence people are perpetrating."

I'd say something like this: "What is the justice people want on Floyd? The officers have been arrested, charged, and they will be tried. There is justice. Do we need reform on policing over racial issues? Show me a racial element of the Floyd situation other than that one cop is white and Floyd was black. If that's your racial element, then you're a racist. If you claim racial injustice, then you need some fact, some evidence to show the officers targeted Floyd for bad treatment because he was black. Justice is rolling on Floyd. People are in jail, there are charges, and a trial will happen. Protesting and rioting for justice over this is like protesting over a lack of food as dinner is being cooked."
