The only reason it got so high to begin with was the democrat states that shoved thousands of covid positive into crowded nursing homes, the majority of deaths are from that and the listing of people who died "with covid" as dying "of covid"
Take New York and New Jersey out and the death rate is tiny. I would bet thousands more could have been saved if the media and democrats would not have attacked hydrochloroquine and prevented it from being used for so long.
