I have held and fired hundreds of ar15's. I've never seen a Remington. I suspect dropping it from their lineup is a financial decision. Much like when Walmart pulled ar's. The left squealed and clapped as though they had pressured Walmart to drop sales of the black death sticks. That is, until Walmart came out a couple days later and said it had nothing to do with politics. That it was a financial decision to pull out of a flooded market.

Remington bought Bushmaster in 2006.

That's right. The same time Bushmaster went to shit. So it is a financial decision.
