Think about how politicians simultaneously want you to be locked down but also suffer the wrath of any mob that wreaks havoc for any cause, including communism. Consider how much they want you to hate government. In order for communism to exist in America you first have to hate government so much that you'd hand over that power to anyone but what they refer to as the "elites". The current liberal playbook seems to be to make every sector of government as reprehensible as possible. They want to become bullies, it's no accident they do the opposite of what we tell them. I just want to raise awareness that government is not necessarily a bad thing so long as they stay out of our lives. We need to make sure that all this negativity is met with appreciation for those officials who do their job well. Thank your leaders just as fervently as you criticize them when they manage to do a good job. Their objective is to see us become like the communist citizenry, filled with hate and despair for their government. Only then will the power of government fall into their lap. I get the feeling they're learning that the American people are not as easy to overtake as their own kind.

"Inherently" would be a more accurate way to put it. Liberals, Antifa and BLM in particular have their mind poisoned with that kind of thinking.

It is also inherently at odds with the laws of nature, nobody has the right to steal.

The first paragraph of the Declaration aptly describes the need for such an institution, but not it nor the Constitution sing it's praises. This Washington quote comes to mind >Government is not reason, it is not eloquence — it is force. Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.

Whether this was actually his word has been muddied beyond discovery.

The thing is government has no power without law backing it up. The separation of powers is ideally supposed to divide the power of government but that simply doesn't happen anymore. I'm reminded of how congress passes laws at an increasing rate of hundreds every year and repeals only a handful. I do agree bad laws allow the government to exceed their given power, which we see a lot more of today than ever. I don't think however that government is like a frankenstein in a castle. It's always changing and while it might be imposing today it can be dismantled or made stronger one piece at a time. Our specific government is given power, only precedent and law authorize them to exert power. How much power they've been given is a whole other story. I consider it a similar situation to the irresponsible dog owner.

There is one thing that you fail to take account of, theft is wrong. It is a rule written into nature itself. No words on paper will ever give anyone the right to rule or steal.
