Refuse to do it. I can imagine the police have better things to do than track down maskless citizens. Call and complain to your State reps and Governor. If enough people disobey, it will be pointless.
The issue is with the stores. One can go outside maskless in my mask-required state with no problem. However, if a store owner allows unmasked people to conduct transactions, the store can lose its license to operate. In my area, it is quite the "thing" for Karens to monitor and report stores that allow maskless transactions, and store management becomes fearful about allowing such transactions.
Yes, I have experienced the same issue here in OH. Most stores have allowed it to be a choice, but there are some that require masks. I have turned around immediately and said "I'll spend my money elsewhere". Given a lot can be ordered online, I go that route or use drive-throughs. I am adamant about calling and complaining to our elected officials. It made a difference when Gov DeWine tried to mandate masks statewide. He retracted that the very next day if I remember correctly.

Everyone has to just start ignoring the demands. How we get people to revolt against this I don’t know. People ultimately live in fear. They talk a big game online but then they cave when they really want something. We have a gigantic community on this forum so there has to be a way to organize within our areas and start making a stand.
I have breathing issues that make masks impossible to wear so it’s fun when I start explaining what it does to me and then they apologize for trying to make me wear it.
I don't have breathing issues, but tell Karen I do whenever she says shit to me about going without a mask.

I live in a mask-required state. So far, there have been no issues outside maskless, but it is impossible to shop in stores maskless.
I have (up to now) solved the mask-required grocery-shopping problem using the "Pick-Up" service at my local supermarket. I shop and pay online and then the store does the shopping and emails an hour or two later when my order is ready. I drive over to the store maskless, park in the appointed pick-up spot maskless, pop the truck on my car maskless, and a store employee comes and places my groceries in the trunk. I quite like this service. I may continue to use it if and when masks come off...probably after November 3.
I am afraid to say what city and supermarket provides this service to maskless shoppers because some ninny will report the store and shut this loophole off. Check your chain supermarket websites and see if they provide this service. (In my location, the supermarket charges for delivery, put this pick-up service is free-of-charge.)

You have to read the specific wording very carefully, unless you want to try to get with a conservative lawyer group that's willing to make a test case out of it.
Otherwise, I'd just get a mask that says VOTE TRUMP across the front of it. See if they prefer you wearing that to not wearing one at all.

A lot of stuff including food and perishables is available online. That will be delivered to your door. Any shipping fees are offset by not spending gas and car miles and time. Just an idea.

I have ranted a bit on here since last Friday's announcement by my county's mini-Hitler that masks are required throughout the county. Stores will, of course, do the enforcement so that they are made to look like the bad guy. I will have to drive at least an extra half an hour to get to a free county - let us call it "The Free State of Shelby". Many stores have no representation or equivalent there, so I am at a loss as to what to do, to be honest. I would be surprised if claiming an exemption would work, even with the privacy presumably given by HIPPA laws. I would love to get a mask that has "Straight White Pride" or "I Can't Breathe" written on it, but not much chance of that. The thought of bending to the totalitarians turns my stomach! The scumbag mayor here let the mob rampage through downtown tearing up everything and knocking down monuments, and they certainly were not wearing masks or "social distancing". What the hell good does a mask really do, anyway? Maybe coupled with other practices it could help, but it is by no means certain even then. And why is every tyrant focused on the mask as if it is somehow proof against all ills? We all know this is nothing other than a badge - a mark that the rulers don't put on us but that we apply to ourselves instead. It is such humiliating debasement! It is so dehumanizing.
