They just mandated face masks be worn in my city. How, besides writing to the mayor, do we fight this? I can not stand the idea of being forced to wear a germ diaper where ever I go.

You simply don’t wear it. Make them try and force you. If you have the glint in your eye, they know not to even try.
LOL.....CDC has specific guidelines on who should not wear a mask......
