To "Sarahfromflorida", "MAGAgal", and others: I feel your pain. Actually, seriously, I do. I have ranted a bit on here since last Friday's announcement by my county's mini-Hitler that masks are required throughout the county. Stores will, of course, do the enforcement so that they are made to look like the bad guy. I will have to drive at least an extra half an hour to get to a free county - let us call it "The Free State of Shelby". Many stores have no representation or equivalent there, so I am at a loss as to what to do, to be honest. I would be surprised if claiming an exemption would work, even with the privacy presumably given by HIPPA laws. I would love to get a mask that has "Straight White Pride" or "I Can't Breathe" written on it, but not much chance of that. The thought of bending to the totalitarians turns my stomach! The scumbag mayor here let the mob rampage through downtown tearing up everything and knocking down monuments, and they certainly were not wearing masks or "social distancing". What the hell good does a mask really do, anyway? Maybe coupled with other practices it could help, but it is by no means certain even then. And why is every tyrant focused on the mask as if it is somehow proof against all ills? We all know this is nothing other than a badge - a mark that the rulers don't put on us but that we apply to ourselves instead. It is such humiliating debasement! It is so dehumanizing.
