The article also mentions Chris Hodges, the head pastor of a large church in Birmingham, Alabama. There was a lot of local coverage of the fact that he dared to approve of some comments from Charlie Kirk. This caused an uproar among blacks in the area and Hodges apologized, shamefully. This all happened after Hodges' church has done tons of outreach into black neighborhoods and directed a great deal of money into them. Hodges then inches a toe outside of leftist orthodoxy and all he and his church have done is demonstrated to be all for naught. He built up no good will....there is no common ground with the left. They demand nothing less that absolute allegiance.
Why don't people maybe look a little more at that question of where BLM donations go. If they really go to good causes, BLM should be able to come forth with that information. However, BLM has been dead silent on the issue as far as I'm aware.
Maybe don't get mad at people asking a fairly obvious question. I would absolutely LOVE it if I was wrong, and BLM donations actually went to improving black communities. Please prove my wrong somebody, but I'm pretty sure those donations are going to either political causes, or somebody's back-pocket.
Yup. If I give money to the Red Cross, I know that a lot of it is diverted to salaries of executives and some of it goes to victims of crises and to blood drives. But I have an idea of where it goes. BLM should rename themselves Black Box Matters because you won't know where the money goes after it enters the Black Box.
