Ah not literally grounded. Just told to limit activity. Seems about right though. Neighbor says they check temps everyday and he only goes in two days a week instead of ,4. But I think that's changed. My work has similar restrictions at work. Of course in the military they can tell you to do whatever they want my work can't limit my activity outside of it.
The news of our imprisonment has been greatly exaggerated. This isn't anything new. It's basically the same thing that everyone has been dealing with since this brouhaha started.

I only chimed in because I've run across some civilians that don't understand what a page-13 is and who were hearing this news from more sensationalist sources. It's easy to accidentally panic people who don't fully comprehend exactly what you'e saying.
Heck, you saw the people who misunderstood what you meant by "grounded". Somebody misunderstands that without bothering to ask what you meant, and next thing you know the internet rumor mill is full of people saying all flight-ops have been cancelled due to covids.
I mean it in the context of a child being grounded by their parents. Which coincidentally is what it feels like. I just want to go back to working 5 days a week instead of 2, and having a little bit of freedom in my time off. I'm on shore duty, not currently deploying, and it is being ruined because of fucking CNN. Just like when my last deployment got extended and our port call in Australia got cancelled because CNN said that we weren't where the Pentagon said we were. The media should not be dictating terms to the military.
Correction: The New World Order, who controls the media, should not be dictating terms to the United States military. Communists, communists, everywhere a communist...

Yeah, but the thing is that it was opening back up. We were going to open the gym on base this past Friday until the FRAGORD came out to stop it.
