I bought a rifle about 2.5 weeks ago here in SoCal ...waiting for the call to pick it up. Also going to buy about 1600 rounds while I'm there. It's a .22 ...but placement is the name of the game so...practice, practice practice for me. It's all I could get for now...but yeah. The process is THE SUCK. Total time was 7.5 hours...the line and then paperwork.
