"When the homicide unit (Bad Guy is not yet dead) completes their investigation it will be reviewd by the San Diego county DA's Office to determine if the officers bear any CRIMINAL LIABILITY for their actions.

The Internal Affairs Uniit will conduct an investigation to determine if there were any policy violations.

The Shooting Review Board will evaluate the tactics Used by the Officers.

The Community Review Board on Police Practices will conduct a review of the incident and provide any appropriate recommendations.
The FBI AND LOCAL US Attorney will also be monitoring the investigation(S)."

How a douchebag criminal turns a(multiple) trigger pull into a million dollar cost sink.
I can get behind ONE, (Maybe an oversight/SRB if First comes out Super Bad ) investigation ... but having HOMICIDE UNIT, County DA, IA, SRB, FBI, and DOJ.
That's just wasteful and stupid.

I’m ok with a homicide unit (it was a homicide).

I’m ok with internal affairs (someone died, worth looking into)

A “Shooting review board.” seems redundant.

A “Community review board” seems like it should only apply if the first steps raised any flags.
