The gonewild subreddits are a big draw for reddit in general. They bring in an audience that go to other subreddits that do sell advertising. There are many subreddits that appeal to children and teens under 18. It is very easy for someone under 18 to stumble across pornography on reddit. That's wrong. The notoriety gonewild subreddits gives to posters can encourage underage teenagers to post naked pictures of themselves. That's evil.

If Camelbucks could be banned because they might encourage children to smoke, then the gonewild subreddits encourage children to view pornography, and even worse, to make themselves pornographic models.

So, yeah, the gonewild subreddits should be immediately shut down. They should be sequestered to a completely separate website, and they should have strong age verification protocols of models.

Until this criminal exploitation is stopped, all of Reddit should be shutdown immediately, just like backpage was.
