Most people are not going to seek out and watch video evidence and it's not like the fake news media/big tech will allow that narrative to take hold.
You are assuming anyone cares about facts when the only thing that matters to the mob are feelings.
I think people are drawn to video and the macabre, though. A lot of people can't wait to see the video released when something controversial happens.
The MAJORITY of things people see nowadays they don't seek out. Unless it's posted somewhere (ahem) and they scroll by.
In California, we ban these videos so people don't become racist.
Part of me wishes all body cam footage was released to the public on say a 24 hour delay.

The privacy of people who interacted with the cop. Like a guy guilty of no crime but the video shows them in a compromising situation.
