It's absolutely insane... Liberal states made an agreement to give all their electoral votes to the candidate that wins the national election popular vote and not the winner of their individual state. I'm not even quite sure if I have explained this correctly because of how stupid it is.

I think the courts are shooting this down because the viters didn't approve it. But, it explains why the Ds are so desperate.

Is that good or bad for us?

Bad. We are a constitutional republic. Not a pure democracy. Founding fathers knew the fate of pure democracies. All the stupidity we see every single day is mob rule. That would give the mob all the power.

Voter fraud would also be much more powerful.

Another user stated courts are striking this down though.

Being a constitutional republic doesn't work too well when one political party doesn't give a shit about the constitution.

CA passed some crap that would force the state to change it's electoral college votes to whatever the popular vote is. For example, If the vote blue but Trump wins the popular vote, then they would switch all electoral votes to red.

That ought to get smacked down quick. You can't just finish an election and pull a "whoops, my bad" if the candidate doesn't match the party.
