It's very obvious that whatever is going is orchestrated, the powers that be want us to fight and the best thing in the world would be to avoid it at all costs. The problem is this other group is so violent and is attacking innocent civilians, so peace although desired is getting impossible to achieve. That's what makes this plan so dastardly. You must protect yourself and when you do you'll be painted by the media as a villian, and the other half of society will see you as a hero; causing some weird quasi-civil war. We want peace, we want to live a good life, go to work, raise a family, go to church, drink one or two brewskis, but that dream for so many Americans slips away everyday as politicians push their own agendas and refuse to enforce the law.
