Children and early teens should not be making body-altering decisions, nor should they be pushed into them. If they still want to go through with it once they're legal adults, fine. They can get whatever cosmetic surgery they want with their own money.
More people need to be saying this. We don't act as enablers for any other kind of mental illness, we try to help them. Why is gender dysphoria any different? I think some of these doctors are exploiting the confused and brainwashed. Probably plenty of money to be made in it.

She points out that there's a great deal of strength a man can draw from his masculinity and a woman can draw from her femininity. Blocking off either of these makes a person weaker and confused.
