The more isolated everyone feels, the more they will be willing to do what "authority" tells them, as a means to stay alive.
If people have a support structure, you take care of each other. You have a pack. But without one, people are just frantic cornered animals, figuratively speaking.
An entire generation is growing up with no sense of community, and very little meaningful social interaction. All humans crave both.
But unless you were raised with the necessary skills to have both, properly, you don't know how. So many are turning to the easiest ways to get it.
And now social distancing will be the new normal for the next generation. It’s going to get even more bizarre.

Our society is being conditioned right now to rely 100% on social media for interaction. Person to person contact can’t be censored and controlled.
