Guys, Fox News is now run by PAUL RYAN!

Remember that cocksucker? He was the heir-apparent-savior of the GOP, but Trump exposed him for the Swamp-creature-RINO that he actually is. (Why do you think Paul quietly exited Congress?)

This is a major reason why Fox now stumps against Trump. Paul Ryan is a little bitch boi who got his fee-fee's hurt.

Not sure why you tagged that with sarcasm, but your statement is true.

Disney got all the movies and the TV production studio. Murdoch and News Inc. kept all the sports, news channels, FOX TV stations (Disney already owns ABC and current law won't let them own another over the air network), and newspapers.

2
Morgoth 2 points ago +4 / -2

I think he's implying that the likelyhood of having no backdoor deals about the News channels is hilariously laughable.

there is no reason to spread bullshit, the 2 companies are completely independent. Fox News' new found antagonism of POTUS is independent of the Disney deal

OANN for the win.

Newsmax too

I'm getting the feeling Trish Regan may land there soon. She's made several guest appearances lately, on Spicer & Co and Chris Salcedo's show.

And for the record, Elizabeth is no better.

7
Caferrell 7 points ago +7 / -0

With the exception of the Trump children, almost all children of highly successful businessmen become accustomed to real privilege. In fact, they seem to be embarrassed by their father actually working.

So true.

2

And their wives.

1

And their super leftist liberal wives who were huge Hillary supporters/fundraisers. They have official roles at the news network.

5
bangbus 5 points ago +7 / -2

I thought the news and sports assets didn’t.

-8
pedewithweed -8 points ago +3 / -11

u/bangbus Nope. The news portion is all disney.

6
bangbus 6 points ago +6 / -0

Fox’s news assets were not part of the Disney sale. Look up FOX on the NASDAQ. It is 39% owned by Murdoch and it owns Fox News. Disney couldn’t buy all of Fox due to antitrust issues.

3
ThePowerOfPrayer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Wrong.

Now that Fox Corp. has sold off most of its entertainment properties, it has become a standalone company that will retain ownership of its broadcast network, owned-and-operated network affiliates, the Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network and Fox Sports.

Former House speaker Paul Ryan is joining the board of directors of the new Fox Corp. NPR's David Folkenflik told WBUR's "Here and Now" that Fox's decision to retain Ryan "is in keeping with the way in which Rupert Murdoch and his family has operated over the years, where they have acquired, essentially, a lot of major political heavyweights to be on their corporate boards, occasionally as top executives — essentially as a hedge" against the fairly heavy regulations that media companies sometimes face.

22
SiBear117 22 points ago +22 / -0

Paul Ryan sabotaged the 2018 midterms so the Dems could impeach him. Ryan knew he couldn't do it himself.

Change my mind.

7
Greenetarpaulin 7 points ago +7 / -0

And sat on his hands during the first 2 years when R’s controlled the House and the Senate.

3
behemoth887 3 points ago +3 / -0

paul ryan is and always has been a lib. you can tell just by looking at him that he is 100% soy.

5
xBigCoffinHunter 5 points ago +5 / -0

Quietly is an understatement. The speaker of the house announced he wasn’t running again and then you didn’t hear a word out of him for 6 months. A true partner would have bowed out of the role when he announced it.

5
Throwawaycuzmeh 5 points ago +6 / -1

I think Fox News needs Tucker more than Tucker needs Fox News. He gives them legitimacy as a conservative news outlet, and they spend that capital by shitting on Trump 20 hours a day.

2
AsaNisiMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

True. Look at his ratings, which equals advertising dollars, even after boycotts. See my comment above concerning media economics.

Pick up a cheap used TV or computer monitor at a Goodwill or Salvation Army or from Craigslist (often available for $20 or so), then spend a few bucks on an HDMI cable, and you're good to go. Even better, also pick up a cheapo old laptop on Craiglist to keep hooked up to the TV/monitor so you can keep your main laptop/computer free for its regular activities.

You can always tell their lying and pushing fake news when they disable comments.

9
supermagafragilistic 9 points ago +9 / -0

Another trend is anytime some black shit goes down comments are disabled. Nowadays it can be seen on Liveleak, black people doing black shit, comments disabled. Reddit, a post about black people doing black shit, post is locked. Back in the day my local news sites had comment sections, it didn't take long for articles about black shit to have comments disabled. Then they ditched comments altogether.

It's been garbage since Disney bought it. They claimed that Disney would have no influence over fox news or fox sports but we can all see that was a total and complete lie.

7
ShiffsDeadHooker 7 points ago +8 / -1

Disney owns 20th Century Fox, not Fox News Network.

-8
arkivx -8 points ago +1 / -9

They own both.

8
Daffy 8 points ago +8 / -0

No, fox corp was excluded from the deal Murdock famliy still owns all that.

8
Alpha_plus 8 points ago +8 / -0

They do not. Not all fox assets were sold to Disney. Fox news is own by fox corporation, which are the remaining fox assets still owned by the Murdoch family.

2
paradox123 2 points ago +3 / -1

Murdoch's son wife works for the Clinton Climate initiative.

2
Alpha_plus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yup. That has nothing to do with the assets Disney bought from 21st Century Fox. Fox Broadcasting is still it's own company not associated with The Walt Disney Company.

1
SnowflakeJuice 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bingo, it was a good move, because content is going direct streaming, so Fox sold it to Disney which rolled out their own streaming service.

They kept news and sports, because that still seems to be strong with cable

4

You know what's really sad? Is that imagine if you had the power over the strongest military in history and you never went ahead and arrested all the enemies of your country but in fact allowed them to continue to protest by rioting and destroying your cities and innocent peoples property and allowing the elected officials to promote such terrorism and then waited for a vote that has a 50% chance of being frauded away by false voting and then actually gave up that power when the vote went against you.

It's time for Trump to say "fuck it your all under arrest for terrorism and or treason ".

Starting with Rhino Republicans and Democrat leaders.

8
AlphaQup 8 points ago +8 / -0

Paul Ryan's stench is all over Fox. He is still crying and upset that Trump did what Ryan could not: Win.

In 2016, we had the House, the Senate, the Presidency, and the majority of state houses. If we had conservatives with balls, we could have amended the Constitution. But we had Paul-two-first-names-Ryan lie about repeal and replace while he raged about access Hollywood.

Well, fuck him and his Fox network. I use to go to Breitbart and Washinton Examiner. Now I come to TD.

Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs, Kennedy, Dagen McDowell. They already went after Kennedy.

1
Deplora 1 point ago +3 / -2

Kennedy is just on hiatus due to the pandemic-related programming changes. She has been appearing on other Fox shows, including super-high-rated The Five (which Dagen McDowell has also been appearing on). There's no indication that they're looking to get rid of Kennedy, though of course it's possible they'll cancel her Fox Business show and use her for other things (e.g. more on Fox Nation, since she appeals to a relatively young demographic, and that's what Fox Nation is targeting).

They have gotten much worse since about 2012.

5

My wife was blackpilled last night from some inane poll on Fox News about how far behind Drumpf is. I told her about Brazille. I told her about Ryan. If I even watch the news it's OANN.

Doesn't she know by now? I think I'll write her a very sternly worded letter.

5
Loathsome_Left 5 points ago +5 / -0

Fox News is cable news. It is what it is. None of them are what you might imagine as "journalists", they're all propagandists with an agenda, and they only report (or create) "news" that serves their agenda. I still love Tucker Carlson, and I find the Fox News 'narrative' less offensive/disgusting then the alternatives.

This is the new age of blind data shaman. They'll look at all the data going back 50 years and do twelve nationwide polls and come to the determination that the bridge, in fact, is NOT out. Just because it doesn't physically appear to be there any more after the storm doesn't mean you can't find the truth.
