I think it's less to do with the Republican party, who are a bunch of closet Democrats anyway, and more to do with that fact that he told the Deep State to fuck off. I have never seen a Republican president treated like Trump. I don't think I have seen anyone in my lifetime treated like Trump.

I watched The Apprentice. I was always impressed with his how Ivanka, Eric, and Jr handled themselves. Scripted, I know but they still came of as more polished than most elite/celeb kids. Trump’s family is what has always impressed me most about him.
