Boris is kind of a fraud, he has been in politics too long already. He is part of that strange group of political people who primarily want power for power's sake rather than to make a difference. He moved into politics as a career move and says what he thinks will make him win elections. When he ran for mayor of London he campaigned as more of a liberal and won, it's a very left wing region. His main ambition was being elected, he has achieved his primary goal and is just coasting now. He is also like most British politicians and is very shifty, doesn't really answer questions coherently and is always vague so he can backtrack later. He isn't really a British trump and saying so is doing trump a disservice. Based on the last few decades of western leaders trump is really a much higher calibre than any I've seen in my lifetime. Don't get me wrong i voted for Boris and will do so again but you guys don't know how lucky you are to get a candidate like trump.
I voted for him. I very nearly in the voting booth, very nearly voted for the greens, because I care about the environment. But I voted Boris. Then when the landslide hit, I saw the greens give a hate filled speech about how the voters were wrong to vote how they did.

The left is so full of hate it's insane. People will say things in pubs like kill all the Tories with no self awareness. The only people i socialise with who will say racist things without any hesitation are leftists. I have to tread on eggshells when talking to young people who know i'm a conservative because they will jump at any chance to call me racist but they can say anything they want about ethic minorities because they think leftists can't be racist.
