He got shot himself, too.

Lopez was wounded in the leg by gunfire from bystanders at the park who were defending themselves, the arrest citation said. He has been charged with murder and wanton endangerment.

Meanwhile the mayor stirs the pot

“Whether they were there at the time of the shooting or not, I know the sadness of those who have been organizing and participating in peaceful protests for racial justice. This is absolutely not what they wanted or any of us wanted,” Fischer said. “We cannot let one senseless act by one individual derail that dream, that vision that we have as a city.”

“We cannot let one senseless act by one individual derail that dream, that vision that we have as a city.”

But we should riot and defund all police when one black career criminal drug addict gets killed in a struggle with police...

Well, there's no doubt in my mind that the issue with Floyd was wrong on both sides. I'm even comfortable with saying that because of their position, those who enforce law (police) have the fiduciary responsibility to hold themselves to an even higher standard than general public, which makes his actions even more detestable. But what I can't stand is the "one is bad so they're all bad" attitude that people are having toward the police, while simultaneously saying nonsense statements like the above that excuse malfeasance by their own party.

Nope. Fentanyl Floyd had a responsibilty to not take shitloads of fentanyl and meth if he didn't want to have a heart attack. Not the cops' fault he was a retarded violent junkie.

Maybe you misunderstood my statement, because I don't disagree with anything you just said. 100% true.

The cop was also out of line. He has an unusually lengthy history of complaints against him and had questionable ties to Floyd, and it was at minimum an excessive use of force. I doubt he meant to induce the heart attack, because he probably didn't know what the guy was on, but he was using unnecessary force. The guy had been restrained already and was not an active threat. This can be true without invalidating that Floyd was also a junkie and violent felon who needed to be legally removed from society for a lengthy amount of time.

Want to bet that hardly any pressure was applied to his neck at all and he died from a drug OD?

I will bet that is the case.

I would bet that too. A person who is screaming that he can't breathe can clearly breathe.

Doesn’t the autopsy more or less say that?

"That surreal end of the Socialist Utopia."

Probably what was thought in the head, or man these idiots are going to make me rich. On the off chance that she truly believes it then there is no words to describe the evil. Non of these mayors/people-in-power are idiots, but they are prideful, greedy, and lustful.
