They're looking for something with the staying power of the Russia Collusion Hoax and they haven't found it yet. What I'm referring to is optics. The Russia Hoax worked wonders for the Dems in terms of optics for 2 years. It doesn't matter that the investigation was a nothingburger, the point of it all was to affect public opinion for as long as possible.
The current round of excitation was supposed to provoke Trump to use the insurrection act. That was their most recent play that failed, I think. If they cut the flow of welfare checks off the chaos will intensify.
