The deep state is corruption, and corruption is like mould. You can clean it off, you can cut out and replace parts of the setup that are too far gone, and you can apparently eliminate it completely.

But the monent you stop checking in the dark corners, it comes right on back and starts growing again.

The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

The deep state is never 'finished'.
