1865 For an entire generation it has been preached that gay people were "born that way" and that they can't/shouldn't change who they are. Now I'm being told that I was "born racist" and that I should be doing something about it. There are places where gays are treated despicably and killed, why would anyone choose that when they could just as easily choose to live happily ever after.
