It's nice to give them a public scolding, but unless they cut off the flow of wasted money, nothing will ever get done. Hit their district with endless letters, flyers, TV ads, whatever sending the message "Your mayor/governor has decided to let your neighborhood be destroyed. Until they either act or you elect new leadership, they have chosen to reject federal funding to help support your neighborhood. This means the crime and violence in your neighborhood will get worse until you act to remove your mayor, governor and all local politicians. Your fate is in your own hands."
