I like to see rich people who don't outsource their security. Cool.

Reminds me of the old-time generals who led the charge with sabre on the battlefield.

good for them, though they should maybe get some gun training. taking my wife for training next weekend. getting myself formally trained as well.

Certainly goes without saying, but waving a gun around, wide eyed and crazy seems to work pretty well too.

Both are effective against "peaceful" protesters, but only training works against a MOB.

That's the look of transitioning from a Bernie supporter to MAGA

I'll accept that over not having a gun at all.

It's better to have a gun and not know how to use than know how to use it and not have it. - Confucius or some shit.

Sometimes, escalating has a de-escalating effect all its own

thats a good first start. look into shooting 3-gun compeitively. if you take up that hobby you will be out shooting almost everyone.

Maybe the mob was more afraid of their gunsmanship (?) than the risk of getting shot?

They look panicked and scared. If anyone loves their home, it's those two.

It's a good idea. I haven't had a formal training class in years, and have just spent my time shooting paper and steel plates for a long time. Then did some drills with one of my Brunch Bois and realized how sloppy I've allowed my form and performance to become.

During the Whiskey Rebellion, George Washington led the army into battle while he was President.

President Taylor once told Southern leaders that if they seceded, he would personally lead the Union army against them

So Taylor was a TYRANT too.

Presidents should have military experience.

Since they are the head of the Executive and Military, it’s hard to argue against that. At least they should have been in Policing, IMO.

Again, I don't use the word "rich" as a pejorative. I have nothing against rich people.

I am not a leftist. Nobody should have to apologize for being rich - it is not an inherently bad thing. Are we being brainwashed by the left ?

Are you taking the word "rich" as a pejorative ? I hope not. That's what the enemy does. We don't have to play by their rules.

The Communist enemy has labeled the rich as evil. I don't do that - for me it is a neutral term, just like "poor" or middle class.

To me, if you can live in a house like that - you are rich. If they prefer to think of themselves as upper-middle-class, that's fine- whatever.

It was a rundown shithole when they bought it. They restored it over a 30 year oeriod of time. It's the effort of their luves as it's an historic home.

It's great branding for their practice

Not sure if they need to ever spend another marketing dollar.
