You might think I'm being paranoid. You might say, "Oh, they just removed a couple of episodes here or there. What's this got to do with cloud gaming?"

EVERYTHING.

Suppose you drop the usual $59.99 + tax on a brand new game 5 years from now. But rather than download it or have it physical, you instead can ONLY play it via the internet (which is where the gaming industry claims to want to go).

Now, imagine if 5 years AFTER you buy that game, some dipshit on Twitter says, "Wow, it's offensive that blah blah blah I'm a commie bitch blah blah blah" (insert retarded SJW reason that makes sense only to retards and terrorists)

Do you really think we live in a society where it is beyond imagination that your ability to access this game can be permanently revoked in a moment's notice if enough people are offended by it?

Or what if they find out you have conservative views and arbitrarily ban you: you can be cut off from enjoying your content for the rest of your entire life.

If they have it, they can take it away. Cloud gaming is a threat that is grave enough to be worth fighting tooth and nail against. You have no guarantee that you'll be able to access the content you paid for when Facebook and Google are the ones controlling your access to it.

When you have entire episodes of TV shows vanishing overnight without even a warning, you need to seriously consider whether or not cloud gaming is a safe investment.

Good points. Totally 100% agree. One issue though. Video games are going to be the fucking least of your worries in 5 years. They’ll be a fond memory of easier and more peaceful times. Nothing you will have the ability or time to enjoy or concern yourself with anymore
