The left has a collection of zealots, useful idiots and misinformed people. You will never convert the zealots, that is true, but you will also never win the others over if you just attack the zealots.
It might be fun to pwn the libs, but it's only increasing the divide if that's all you do. Stop being problem focused and start being solution focused. Stop playing into the game the MSM has set up and doing nothing but arguing about the lefts plans all the time. This has started to creep into attacking anyone even on the right simply if they disagree with you on a policy issue. This is leftist trash critical theory being used and accepted by the right implicitly.
It's ok to disagree whether xyz is a problem or not intellectually, but that DOESN'T MATTER to someone who cares about xyz irrationally, even if they are otherwise rational.
Is racism a problem in the US? NO. But arguing with the milquetoast lefty supporter who's just trying to fit in that it isn't DOESN'T OFFER A SOLUTION even if they misunderstand the problem.
Instead of attacking everyone on Facebook and Twitter, start showing that the right is the party of solutions. Instead of saying "retard, racism isn't a problem lolol here's some stats", say "There are many problems causing black inner city areas to suffer, so here's what we need to do to start fixing that...".
I know it's hard, but if you don't offer any solutions to real problems, just point fingers at a different one or disprove the claim without addressing the underlying question, you will never win anyone over. Don't deflect, pivot to the real problem WHILE providing a solution. It's not about having "common ground" with socialists, it's about providing an alternative solution to people's real problems, something the Neocons NEVER CARED ABOUT and the religious right off the 90s never actually bothered to engage in.
I'm pretty sure most of the left is covered by my 8 points.
Maybe I forgot a few:
Anyone else I am missing?
Oh yeah, one of my favorites:
