I was visiting my grandparents (grandfather has found out he has cancer again) who lived just outside Atlanta. I had heard Atlanta was having some major issues but since I wasn't actually going into the city I figured I was safe. I was wrong. I had left my grandparents and was traveling 20 eastbound when three African Americans on the overpass right before exit 51b threw an object off the overpass at my car. Praise the Lord they had just BARELY missed I was able to move a little bit to the left to dodge. I saw them jump and laugh as it looked like it was going to hit. This was attempted murder. I was going about 75mph at the time. There is no doubt if the object had hit there would have been serious harm to me and my wife likely death. I called 911 and reported the assault. Not sure if anything will be done. I usually carry my gun but there is little it would do in this type of attack. These people are terrorist and I encourage everyone to be careful as these types of attacks will likely continue.
