I agree with their decision here. They probably do not believe any of this but if they didn't say this they would be fired and probably physically attacked.

Intimidation works, especially when we know the cops will stand down and allow them to be attacked, and the GOP will allow them to be fired.

It's more proof this violent mob needs to be stopped entirely.
