EMI, The Pretender's label, went after Rush for using the opening riff of "My City Was Gone" as his theme. He quit for a while after getting a cease and desist. Chrissie said her parents were Rush fans and it didn't bother her and gave him permission to use it again.

She also praised Trump for giving Rush the Freedom Medal.
